CALL FOR PAPERS FOR PUBLICATION
 

The Post Graduate Studies Editorial Board is calling for papers for publication in Volume 8 (2026) of the Journal of Postgraduate Studies.

 
THEME

Research for Development in Papua New Guinea:

The theme for this volume is Research for Development in Papua New Guinea. Articles can be from various fields of study but address the theme.

 
INFORMATION FOR CONTRIBUTORS

The University of Goroka (UoG) Journal of Post Graduate Studies is published twice a year in February and July. The Journal provides an opportunity for writers, readers and academics to develop and participate in a culture of research and publication. It promotes dissemination of research findings by postgraduate students and staff of universities in Papua New Guinea, the Pacific region and globally, by providing an avenue for publication.  

The Journal welcomes contributions from academics, professionals, researchers, business managers and government services executives.

 


SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

All articles are subject to peer review. The word count of the articles must be between 3000-6000 words (including abstract and references). Authors should ensure that submitted papers are in 2010 Microsoft Word electronic format. Statistical tables, illustrations and charts should be included within articles and conform to the journal’s layout specifications. Printing is normally only in black and white so charts and graphs should not rely on colour for distinct interpretations.

Articles should be formatted for printing on A4 paper. The top, bottom and side margins should be 2.5 cm. The font to be used is Times New Roman type 12 points (single line shifts). A fifty (50) to 150 words biographical note about each author should accompany the article. The editorial committee has the discretion to request a response to an article. Reviews of recent books in Papua New Guinea should be 900-1500 words in length.

SUBMISSION DATES

Papers should be submitted by: 01st September 2026

 

Manuscripts will be acknowledged and are reviewed anonymously by at least two members of the Editorial Board. Opinions expressed in the accepted articles are those of the author and not of the University of Goroka and the editors. The accuracy and completeness of the references are the responsibility of the author. All in-text citations and references should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style.
